朋友的祝福

爸爸妈妈把跃跃的照片放到picasa上，发给好多同事和朋友，收到好多祝福。
下面这个是妈妈收到的有趣的一封。

Dear xxx,

You don't know me, but I am a retired professor from the xxx Department at U. xxx now living in xxx. I was pleased to see that your daughter and I share the same birthday, though I was born later in the day ~6 PM in xxx in 19xx. Birthdays never cease to surprise. In 2006 during a few hour layover in Buenos Aires, my hosts took me on a short tour down the city's broadest and most famous avenue, which is named "9th of July"! This was the date when Argentina declared independence from Spain.

Best wishes on your new role with the newborn, which I am sure will be full of surprises,
